The 3.4-liter M96 flat-six produced 296 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque when new. An LN Engineering double-row IMS bearing update kit was fitted in October 2017, at which time the rear main seal, chain tensioners, oil separator, engine mounts, and clutch components and cylinders were replaced. Service in March 2020 included replacement of the secondary air pump, and service in preparation for the sale is said to involve replacing the mass air flow sensor.
