This 1989 Land Rover 110 is a left-hand-drive example that was originally produced as a five-door station wagon via complete knock-down kit assembly. It was reportedly used in the Middle East as a school bus until being acquired by its first private owner in 2010. A 2016 refurbishment included converting the wagon to a four-door pickup, replacing body panels, a repaint in Alpine White, and reupholstery of the interior in black leather. The truck was acquired by the seller in 2021 and imported to the US. Subsequent work included installing a 2.5-liter 300Tdi turbodiesel inline-four and a rebuilt R380 five-speed manual transmission as well as fitting a body-color external roll cage and power accessories. Maintenance conducted in 2021 reportedly included replacing the water pump, radiator, and battery.
The truck was converted from a five-door wagon to a four-door pickup in 2016 according to the seller. Additional work performed at the same time reportedly included a repaint in white with a black roof following replacement of the doors and the installation of a Puma-style hood. Additional features include black-painted wheel arch flares, LED lights, a replacement front grille, and running boards.
Black 16″ aluminum wheels are shod in BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires at each corner, and a covered spare is mounted to a swing-out rear carrier. A body-color external roll cage was installed by the seller.
The interior was refreshed with black leather upholstery and a gray headliner, while aftermarket accessories installed by the seller consist of power windows and locks and an air-conditioning system which intermittently blows warm air.
The aftermarket steering wheel frames a 150-km/h speedometer with an inset odometer showing 113k kilometers (~69k miles).
The replacement 2.5-liter 300Tdi turbodiesel inline-four drives all four wheels through a rebuilt R380 five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Maintenance reportedly performed in 2021 included replacing the battery, radiator, and water pump.
