A four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation that includes a central 7k-rpm tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows just over 63k miles.
The mid-mounted and fuel-injected 1.7-liter flat-four sends power to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Work in 2018 by Gasoline Alley of Greenville, South Carolina included resurfacing the flywheel and installing a replacement clutch, crankshaft seal, spark plugs, and exhaust gaskets.
